Cover artist Xaay, who has already worked with EVOCATION on the Apocalyptic album, has proven to be the best choice for the job, delivering a dark and desolate yet beautiful piece of art for the new album. All tracks were mastered at Fascination Street Studio (OPETH, PARADISE LOST, ENSLAVED, etc.), and the re-mastering of the demo tracks was done using the original master tapes. Besides the historical musical content, this compilation is packed with in-depth information about the history of EVOCATION. A foreword has been written by Anzo Sadoni (Metal Hammer), Bj�rn-Thorsten Jaschinski (Rock Hard & Legacy) and Frank Schenk (Chaos Magazine), and it takes a dive into EVOCATION's history from their start in 1991 through their reunion in 2005 and the release of the band's critically acclaimed third studio album, Apocalyptic. Guitarist Marko Palm�n comments on every song and gives a detailed view into the writing process of the demos.
